On Saturday 25th June the Viking Crew team visited the Scenic Eclipse in Zeebrugge Belgium, where we hosted an interview day onboard the vessel for some potential future Scenic crew members.
Jessica, Katie and Michelle (Viking Crew Placement Team) invited a group of Deck, Engine and Hotel maritime professionals who expressed an interest in working within the Scenic Group, to spend the afternoon onboard the beautiful Scenic Eclipse – The World’s First Discovery Yacht – whilst she was alongside in Zeebrugge.
The day was a great success as we welcomed 9 guests onboard and the itinerary for the day involved:
– Ship Tour, which allowed the group to explore the vessel, and be able to see all of the potential work areas, as well as a behind the scenes look at the crew areas. Getting a great feel for life onboard!
– Scenic group Presentation in the Theatre , followed by a Q & A session – where we explored the Scenic Group in more detail, the future of Scenic as well as listening to testimonials of current crew members on why they love their work
– Lastly, a One to One interview with a member of the Viking Crew placement team to discuss any future job opportunities with Scenic that may be suitable for them
The Scenic Group fleet is expanding with the recent arrival of the Emerald Azzurra in 2022, followed by the planned launch of the Scenic Eclipse II and the Emerald Sakara scheduled for 2023. This will open up amazing opportunities for anyone that is interested in a career with Scenic to join their growing fleet, as well as the potential for future promotional opportunities.
It is a very exciting time for Scenic and for Viking Crew, as we provide recruitment, employment and ongoing crew management for the company.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting this group of possible future Scenic crew members. A big thank you to all the group for attending and to the Vessel / onboard crew who helped to make the day happen and run smoothly.
