Windstar’s fleet of three sailing yachts and three motor yachts, with a capacity of 148 to 342-guests, offer a personalised approach, bringing guests closer to each destination and every port, so they can see the world from new perspectives.
Windstar have scoured the world for amazing places just this side of unreachable and seek out the most authentic ways for guests to experience them. The itineraries are port intensive, often with exclusive destinations larger ships cannot access. The six-ship fleet visit over 170 ports worldwide including those in Northern Europe, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Costa Rica and the Panama Canal, Tahiti and the South Pacific, as well as more recently – Alaska, Canada, New England and Asia.
Windstar Cruises Welcomes Two New Ships to its Fleet, Star Seeker, and Star Explorer
Windstar is excited to announce the expansion of its fleet with the addition of two all-suite motor yachts, Star Seeker and Star Explorer. The first of the two new ships is expected to be delivered in December 2025, followed by the Explorer in 2026.
Each ship will feature 112 suites, with full private verandas and infinity windows, ensuring unparalleled views for every guest onboard. Additionally, two new Owner’s Suites with wrap-around balconies have been added to the aft of the ship, perfect for cocktails or a private dinner. With a capacity for 224 guests and a staff to guest ratio of 1:2, the ships maintain an intimate atmosphere, ensuring a personalised service at every turn.
Every aspect of the ships’ design reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to preserving the environment while providing unforgettable experiences to travellers.
