At the Heart of Global Crewing. At the Heart of the Debate.

Dieter Jaenicke, Viking Maritime Group Chairman & Founder will be taking part in this year’s conference and speaking on the expert panel in the Cruise Crew Management Forum: Sharing experience and best practices; mapping out “the new normal” discussing topics such as recruitment challenges, dealing with and optimizing crew admin, improving relationships and working with authorities and solutions for training and business continuity.

This is the industry’s most relevant event, spread over four days, connecting the global crewing community to inform and inspire change in recruitment & retention, training & safety at sea and mental health & well-being.

This event would normally take place in Manila, Philippines but due to the global pandemic, the organisers have moved to a virtual event. With over 400 industry professionals from 38 countries already signed up for this year’s Crew Connect Global, it is the event to be part of in 2020.

There are a number of significant industry keynote speakers throughout the sessions covering subjects such as
• Seafarers ARE Key Workers: Unpacking the crisis
• Leading With Empathy
• Planning a Course of Action and the Roadmap to Recovery
• Crew Changes and How to teach the next generation.

Dieter will be alongside other industry panellists Margareta Jensen Dickson, Stephen Cotton, Guy Platten, John Adams, Amitabh Kumar, Ann-Kristin Siewert, Mark O’Neil, Andreas Nordseth, James Lee, Raal Harris, Capt. Londy Ngcobo, Dennis Svane Hansen, Charles Watkins and Mike Powell FNI.
