German speaking Commis De Cuisine needed!
Responsible for the performance and professional workflow in assigned work area and related administrative duties.
•
Prepares and prepares all food for his/her station, according to specified standards and conscious, economical use of food products.
•
Quick and safe compliance with instructions
•
Own quality control
•
Assist other station as necessary
•
Ensure safe, professional, economical and hygienic food storage, especially adherence to best before dates.
•
Strict adherence to safety, environmental and sanitary guidelines (USPH/HACCP, ISM/&ISO, SQM, HLC service standards) in area of responsibility.
•
Contribute to food, beverage and hotel store orders for the work area.
•
Receive and inspect merchandise deliveries in the work area.
•
Assist in securing all equipment during inclement weather.
•
Assist in the execution of special events (promotions, mornings, VIP events, etc.).
•
Work closely with Demi Chef de Partie, including regular reporting; promptly handle conflicts and workflow disruptions.
•
Maintaining logs and checklists as directed.
•
Assist with cleaning/sanitizing duties using personal protective equipment (PPE).
•
Review and control merchandise transfers and ordering procedures in area of responsibility.
•
Responsible for set-up and tear-down activities in work area as directed, as well as properly putting away merchandise and equipment.
•
Conducting and evaluating internal departmental inventories.
•
In special situations, also interdepartmental assignment, e.g. loading, suitcase service.

Within the scope of pre-opening, additional tasks are to be carried out as instructed when taking over the ship, during shipyard periods, when equipping and establishing sailing operations. Apply Now
