Senior Provision Master needed for Sea Chefs!

Start Date: 29/09/2025
• Lead the Assistant Provision Master and Assistant Storekeeper reporting to him, under the direction and instruction of the Hotel Inventory Controller.
• Assist the Hotel Inventory Controller with all daily administrative tasks required.
• Close cooperation with the Hotel Inventory Controller, including regular documentation processing and up-to-date reporting on any conflicts or disruptions in the operational process
• Responsible for the workflow and all warehouse and loading operations and perform according to possible efficient sustainability and agreed quality standards.
• Processing of daily operations and execution of daily work at all times as directed by the Hotel Inventory Controller.
• Ensuring the compilation and deliveries of the order quantities of all ship areas and outlets in F&B and non-food. 
• Stowage of goods upon receipt of provisions
• Ensuring controlled access, within the scope of the access authorization, to the stores and ensuring ship security 
• Securing the handling of goods according to the first in - first out principle
• Implementation and control of defined reports and check lists
• Control of strict compliance with safety, environmental and hygiene guidelines 
(USPH/HACCP, ISM/&ISO, SQM, HLC service standards) in the area of responsibility
• Reporting and handling all necessary or current incidents; such as consumption changes, but also defects, repairs and safety violations, etc.
• Performing inventories and recording of all MHDs, counted commodity groups.
• Lead and train all necessary fleet standards to all subordinate employees in the Provision Area, such as Assistant Storekeepers, Auxiliary Workers and Loading Aides.
• Provide daily supervision and support for cleaning and sanitizing operations throughout the Provision Area, including equipment and use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Collaboration in ensuring the criteria of ship safety, the acceptance of goods, a seaworthy storage of all stocks of goods at all times and under all circumstances, ensuring the maintenance of the value of the machinery, equipment and storage rooms with their technical facilities in the entire work area. 
• Continuous development of own professional skills, willingness to learn.
• Creating effective handover information / records for handover for the task area before descending.
• As part of the pre-opening of ships, perform additional duties as directed by the ship and hotel management during takeover, in shipyards, during equipment and production of sailing operations.
• Continuous optimization and development of work procedures and standards, also contributing to manuals and guidelines.
• Careful handling of company property and maintenance of working materials and equipment. The job holder is liable for negligence.
• Knowledge of assigned safety role number using the muster roll and specific duties in the event of an emergency.

• Completed apprenticeship in the food / commercial sector or relevant practical experience
• Professional experience in a comparable position
• EDP - knowledge (Mircosoft Office, ideally merchandise management system Crunchtime)
• Good product knowledge
• Good knowledge of U.S.P.H. and Ship San Standards
• Good school education
• Good written and spoken English
