Captain needed for 25M+ private motoryacht in Guernsey

Captain needed for 25M+ private motor yacht in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

Full time Captain sought for yacht based in Guernsey.  The Captain and crew must be based in Guernsey during the season.  The responsibilities include all aspects of managing, using and maintaining the yacht.

Itinerary: local cruising but also trips to France, UK, Spain / Portugal
 
Requirements & Qualifications needed: 

• Strong safety awareness and record.
• High level of qualifications and suitable skipper experience.
• Experience of navigation and skippering in conditions similar to those in the English Channel / Channel Islands including large tidal ranges.
• Good practical technical ability and ability to manage the maintenance of the yacht and keep it in first class condition.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with confidence in guest-facing service.
• Strong organisational & budgetting skills. 
• Experience of dealing with customs and entry requirements in European ports

 
Qualifications:  MCA Master 200 GT (or equivalent), STCW Certification, ENG Medical  

Open to couples: Captain & Deck / Stew

Preference for candidates already based in Guernsey
