We are looking for a Assistant Destination Manager (Assistant Shore Excursion Manager) to join Windstar Cruises!
Summary:
The Assistant Destination Manager is available to support the Destination Manager in order to deliver a high quality Shore Excursion program and achieve revenue targets and ratings.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Deliver the highest possible quality of destination engagement on board.
- Assist in the delivery of the shore excursions on board for individual guests and groups
- Attend the destination talk on each port of call each evening
- Sell shore excursions, private cars, and act as concierge when needed
-Suggest tours to match guest with expectation
-Escort tours on a daily basis to make sure it is matching the published descriptions and ensure the highest possible service quality.
- Prepare and maintain tour escort packs.
-Coordinate embarkation and disembarkation, including dispatch of transfers and tours.
Requirements:
STCW 4thPart Basic Training
SDSD (Seafarers with Designated Security Duties)
Experienced public speaker
Valid Seafarers Medical
Must have ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a highly diverse environment and able to execute operational imperatives in a swift and demanding environment.
6 /2 rotation
Salary paid per month worked + Incentive Scheme
