The assistant sommelier provides courteous and efficient wine and bar services to guest and crew. The assistant sommelier is responsible for the inventory of wines and spirits in his/ hers assigned area. The assistant sommelier is the wine educator, therefore, is also responsible for the training of the restaurant/ bar staff with regards of winemaking techniques, grape background, characteristics and history. The assistant sommelier must follow the training program as Sommelier monthly planning.
Rotation - 4 months on, 2 months off.
Start Date: ASAP
Certificates Required: WSET Level 3, STCW's Basic Safety Training, Security Awareness, Crowd Management.
C1/D Visa required
Seafarers Medical
